Terms & Conditions

• The use of our rooms and equipment is at the sole risk of the member. The member assumes all risk and liability for the use of the room.

• Our rooms are specifically designed for virtual reality, golf, massage, sensory float or exercise. You are not allowed to use it for other activities.

• We can make arrangements for additional equipment upon prior request.

• A member must be medically, mentally, and physically fit to engage in activities within our facility. We recommend you seek medical advice before engaging in any activity within our facility.

• It is the obligation of the member to leave the room orderly after each use, failure to comply will result in termination of membership with no refund.

• All damage or breakages must be reported to the reception desk immediately.

• Members are required to report any issue they notice in the room or with equipment before starting any activity.

• Member hours or part thereof begin on the hour, unused time or late arrival cannot be credited.

• The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited, members are not permitted to use the facilities if under the influence of alcohol.

• All illegal activity will be reported to the police and membership withdrawn without recourse to reimbursement.

• No smoking or vaping

• Members are responsible for checking room equipment prior to commencing activity

• The removal of equipment will incur additional charges and forfeit membership with immediate effect.

As a Member of BareRooms LTD you agree that you will

• Clean equipment with the sanitiser spray and paper towels provided and replace the equipment back to the racks after use.

• Use the cleaning products, including hand sanitiser as provided.

• Wash your hands regularly with soap and water whilst on the premises.

• Carry and use a sweat towel for personal use only and not to wipe equipment. Please use the dedicated cleaning stations for wiping down equipment after use.

• For the general safety of others, if you are unwell, symptomatic or have tested positive for coronavirus, you are prohibited from coming to our premises. You must follow government regulation on isolating for a minimum period of time, and only return after this minimum period if you are free of such illness.

• Use your unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) every time you enter and exit the gym.

• Keep your PIN and member log in details a secret and it must not be disclosed to anyone else.

• Complete your online induction if you are a wheelchair user or are under 18 years old.

• Strongly consider completing the online induction, particularly if you are a first-time user.

• Not take photographs or videos on the premises or post remarks or imagery to the internet that could identify another Member or a Member of Staff without prior permissions.

• Not drop or throw weights down on the floor anywhere in the Weights room.

• Not leave your belongings when you are not on the premises (we regularly remove items left and donate it to charity).

• Wear suitable clothing and footwear when exercising (denim, bare feet, flip-flops, boots or a bare torso are amongst the range of clothing choices that is unsuitable). Any member not wearing suitable attire may be asked to leave the gym at the discretion of the local management team.

• Use the facilities and equipment in a proper manner and not in a way that might cause harm to yourself or others (just ask a member of staff if you are unsure).

• Not engage in any exercise activity that may be potentially harmful to you or others (this includes contact sports such as martial arts and boxing unless this is with one a Personal Trainers).

• Not use, block or interfere with fire, emergency or disabled access doors or alarms (except in a genuine emergency).

• Do not tamper with fire extinguishers.

• Not behave in an aggressive, abusive, intimidating, anti-social or threatening manner or in a way that might cause distress to staff or Members.

• Not discriminate, harass, or engage in unwanted physical or verbal contact with another member or member of staff.

• Not conduct any Personal Training business with other Members without a PT membership.

• Come and go quietly so as not to disturb our neighbours.

• Use any parking facilities provided in accordance with the rules that the parking provider posts and may change from time to time (if you get a parking ticket, we are not liable).

• Not park your bicycle in an unsafe or in an inappropriate location. Where possible use the bike racks provided.

• Put your litter in the correct bin, let’s recycle where possible.

• Not use the gym whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers or make use of any other medical substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely on our premises. BareRooms reserves the right to remove you from the premises if it reasonably believes you are unfit to use the facilities.

• Not engage in any type of criminal behaviour whilst on our premises.

• Not cause damage to the premises, our or another Member's property.

• Not misuse the vending machines.

• Not force entry to locked doors.

• Not eat whilst in the rooms.

• Leave the premises before closing time and promptly upon completion of your allocated time slot.

1.1 Membership Types:

• Silver Essentials Membership: 1 x 1-hour private session per week, plus unlimited access to the Cardio Zone.

• Weekend Warrior Membership: 1 x 1-hour session on weekdays and 2 x 1-hour sessions on weekends, plus unlimited Cardio Zone access.

• Gold Full Membership: 3 x 1-hour private sessions per week, recreation rooms included, 1 float session per month, and unlimited Cardio Zone access.

• Platinum Full Membership: 5 x 1-hour private sessions per week, recreation rooms included, 1 float session per month, and unlimited Cardio Zone access.

1.2 Trial Sessions:

• All new members are entitled to one free trial session in any gym room.

1.3 Payment and Renewals:

• All Membership fees are payable MONTHLY in advance.

• Payments must be made via debit card, direct debit or another approved method.

• Late or failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of your membership.

1.4 Cancellation Policy:

• Members can cancel their membership with 14 days’ notice by emailing (help@barerooms.com)

2. Facility Use

2.1 Gym Room Bookings:

• Sessions must be booked in advance via our app or website.

• Members must adhere to their allocated time slots.

2.2 Recreation Rooms:

• Recreation rooms, including the golf simulator and automated massage chair, are included in Gold and Platinum memberships. Day passes are also available.

2.3 Sensory Deprivation Float Tank:

• Members must be over 18 to use the float tank.

• Users must shower before and after their session.

• Do not use the float tank if you have recently dyed your hair or have open wounds.

2.4 Cardio Zone:

• Unlimited access is available to all members. No booking is required.

3. Health and Safety

3.1 Health Declaration:

• Members confirm they are fit to exercise and will consult a medical professional if unsure.

3.2 Age Restrictions:

• Members must be over 16 to use the facilities, except where supervised by an adult.

3.3 Equipment Use:

• Members must use equipment as instructed and report any faults immediately.

3.4 Personal Belongings:

• Barerooms is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

4. Conduct and Etiquette

4.1 Respect for Others:

• Members must respect other users and staff at all times.

• Disruptive or abusive behaviour will result in suspension or termination of membership.

4.2 Cleanliness:

• Members must clean equipment after use and dispose of waste responsibly.

4.3 Dress Code:

• Appropriate workout attire and footwear must be worn at all times.

5. Payments and Fees

5.1 Membership Fees:

• Fees are subject to annual review. Members will be notified of any changes at least 30 days in advance.

5.2 Additional Charges:

• Day passes, extra float sessions, and non-included services will incur additional charges.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1 Data Collection:

• We collect personal information to manage memberships and provide services. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

6.2 CCTV Monitoring:

• CCTV is used in public areas for safety and security purposes.

7. Liability

7.1 Assumption of Risk:

• Members accept that exercise involves inherent risks and use facilities at their own risk.

7.2 Limitation of Liability:

• Barerooms is not liable for personal injury, illness, or accidents unless caused by negligence.

8. Amendments to Terms

8.1 Updates:

• Barerooms reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Members will be notified of significant changes.

Availability Of The Service: Warranty Disclaimer

Our Services may be temporarily unavailable from time to time for maintenance or other reasons. BareRooms assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or communication failure. We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, or restrict the availability of all or any part of our Services for business and operational reasons.

OUR SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS" BASIS, WITH ALL "DEFECTS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. BAREROOMS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURACY OF INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF ANY USE OF OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. BAREROOMS MAKES NO REPRESENTATION THAT THE SITE, OUR MOBILE APP, OR ANY CONTENT IS FREE FROM ERRORS, VIRUSES, BUGS, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. BAREROOMS MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SERVICE IS APPLICABLE OR APPROPRIATE FOR USE IN YOUR STATE OR COUNTRY.

BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitations: Waiver of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL BAREROOMS OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, CONTENT, OR ANY RELATED PRODUCT ACCESSED THROUGH OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF BAREROOMS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, BAREROOMS’S LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT A MEMBER PAID FOR OUR SERVICES.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

Separation of Terms

Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any part of these Terms is not enforceable, the rest of these Terms still apply and are binding, and any unenforceable term will be substituted with a term that comes as economically close to the unlawful or unenforceable term as possible.

Assignment

We reserve the right to assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a different party or entity at any time without your consent. Users are not allowed to assign their rights or obligations under these Terms to any party without obtaining prior written consent from BareRooms, any attempt to do so without our consent is void.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, and any other policies or rules we reference in these Terms, make up the entire agreement between you and BareRooms relating to the subject matter of these Terms and supersede all prior understandings of the parties relating to the subject matter of these Terms, whether those prior understandings were electronic, oral or written, or whether established by custom, practice, policy or precedent, between you and us.

Language Of The Terms

Any translated version of these Terms of service is for informational use only. The translated version may not fully represent our position as it could mean something different from the English version. The English version remains the authentic version of these Terms.

No Waiver

Our non-enforcement of our rights under these Terms at any time does not mean we waived the right to do so in the future. And, if we do expressly waive a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we have waived it in perpetuity. If we do waive a default or breach by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default or breach by you.

Notices
